About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist, consultant, researcher, and educator in Pasadena, CA. I maintain a small practice and specialize in psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and their families who are struggling with issues of anxiety, trauma, depression, grief and loss, and relationship problems. I also provide learning disabilities testing and assessments for immigration-related proceedings.

Research

In my research, I take a special interest in addressing the interrelationships between family, mental health, and social justice issues for the immigrant population in the U.S. and abroad.

News

I speak, tweet, and advocate on issues related to immigration enforcement, internal displacement, community

violence, trauma, parenting, child and family well-being, and health disparities.
